KS1 Teacher  – Year 2 Teacher required in Southampton

We at Supply Desk are seeking a Year 2 Teacher for a Full responsibility post. The school is on a journey to excellence and is looking for someone with passion, drive and high expectations to help their Year 2 cohort to prepare for their KS2 journey from September.

About the school:

The school is a large 2 form entry school in the Southampton are with good links to public transport. With a new, experienced head teacher in place, the school is an exciting establishment with many CPD opportunities.

What the school requires:

• An experienced Year 2 teacher with the ability to set high expectations.
• The ability to manage 2 LSAs within the class
• An excellent knowledge of phonics (the school uses Oford Reading Tree phonics)
• The ability to differentiate for the needs of SEND children within the class
• A professional with high standards and a passion for learning development

What we ask from you?

Our service is free of charge but all we ask is that you are compliant with the Department for Education guidelines and you:

-      Have a current DBS on the update service or are prepared to obtain one

-      Hold a teaching qualification recognised in the UK

-      Are an experienced teacher
