Join a leading manufacturer in the plastics industry. A trusted client of our are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Moulding Toolmaker to become a key part of our dynamic tooling department.

About the Role:

As a Toolmaker, you'll be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of precision injection mould tools. You'll work closely with the design and production teams to ensure all tools meet exact specifications and are ready for efficient, high-quality production.

Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and assemble new injection mould tools to tight tolerances

  • Carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs on existing tools

  • Operate manual and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, EDM, etc.)

  • Work from technical drawings and 3D CAD data

  • Troubleshoot tooling issues to support production

  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a plastic injection moulding environment

  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment

  • Skilled in manual and CNC machining techniques

  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

  • Team player with a proactive approach
