RA Clement Associates have been established in the west highlands of Scotland for over 50 years providing an exceptional client focused service with offices in Oban, Fort William and Mull, with clients all over the world.

Role Highlights:
As a Senior Accountant within the firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting the partners deliver high quality work for the firms' clients as well as supporting less experience individuals to review their work as well as coaching and mentoring.
Role Responsibilities:
At RA Clement Associates they do more than just respond to questions. They work incredibly hard to keep clients up to date with all the information they need to manage their financial affairs.
You will have exposure to:
- Bookkeeping - Quarterly preparation and cloud software support.
- Charities and NFP - Financials and Compliance.
- Company Secretarial Services - Companies house reporting and submissions.
- Inheritance Tax and Estate planning - Advice and Tax Planning.
- Payroll Services - Monthly preparation and compliance support.
- Tax Planning - Individual, Business and Corporate.
- VAT - Advice and completion of VAT returns.
You will be involved in Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnerships and Limited Company financial statements with any associated compliance including submissions to Companies House.
Preparation and submissions of annual Self-Assessment tax returns. All aspects of compliance including calculation of self-employment, partnerships, land and property, investment income and capital gains. Preparation and submissions of quarterly VAT returns on HMRC software.
The firm also provide VAT advice on various issues including business and property transactions.
About You:
We are looking for a confident and proactive individual with the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Accountant (CA/ ACCA)
- Previous experience working within a practice firm is desirable.
- Excellent level of service - have experience delivering high quality work to clients.
- Intermediate to Advanced software skills
