Salary: £14.82 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Leader to join our team in a warm and supportive residential care home in Thornbury. If you are an experienced Carer or Senior Carer with a passion to make a difference then this role could be for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and motivate care staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate care delivery, making adjustments where necessary.
  • Administer medication and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with care home policies.
  • Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with audits, training, and staff development.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
  • Handle incidents and concerns in a professional and timely manner.


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
