We are seeking a Sales/Office Team Leader to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day to day management of an internal Sales office where you will over see Order entry, quotation and pro active teams. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive team environment, recruiting and monitoring performance of the sales team as well as identifying potential new targets within existing and new markets.
Duties
- Management of the internal Sales team
- Achieve sales targets through managing and motivating the sales team
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Organise training and maintain training records
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Report on sales data and customer sales trends
- Collaborate with other departments and work closely with management
- Prepare reports on team performance and sales forecasts
Skills
- Proven experience in a sales/ office team leader role
- Able to communicate, present and influence in a credible way
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive sales to meet forecasted budgets and targets
- Able to work alongside and support the management team
- Previous experience of the electrical industry would be an advantage
- Able to upsell on company strengths and new product ranges
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
