- Liaise with agents, freight forwarders and hauliers regarding documents, correct commodity code usage, duty payments and bookings.
- Produce required shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, EUR1 forms.
- Maintain internal relationships with the Group’s control manager and compliance processes.
- Undertake continuous analysis of the regulatory environment – commodity code reviews, end use certification, quotas reviews, Export licenses and maintain compliant records for both internal and HMRC audits.
- Maintain and monitor HMRC MSS reports and advise on any anomalies to the Supply Chain Manager and Finance department.
- Point of contact for all export control enquires.
- Good communication skills are required, as it is essential that you interact with other areas of the business to provide delivery updates and information on potential delays.
- Follow the training you receive when using any work items given to you.
- Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s health and safety.
- Support the company with environmental initiatives and any compliance issues.
