Payroll Administrator – OldburyFull-Time | ? Temporary 

SF Recruitment are recruiting a stand alone Payroll Administrator in Oldbury who are seeking a dedicated individual to join their team and take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process.

The Role:

As Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a weekly and monthly employees. You’ll work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll legislation and deliver excellent service to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll for 100–500 employees

  • Managing starters, leavers, and contract changes

  • Calculating statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and deductions

  • Submitting RTI and pension contributions to HMRC and relevant providers

  • Handling payroll queries from staff and management

  • Producing payroll reports for management

  • Supporting audits and year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds

? What You’ll Need:
  • Previous experience in a payroll position (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, and statutory deductions

  • Familiarity with payroll systems (ITRENT)

  • Good Excel skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
