The company specialise in the automotive, industrial, computing, consumer electronics and communications sectors.  They are looking to recruit a Graduate Process Engineer to work within the Photolith Department. This role is based in Greater Manchester. Benefits

Graduate Process Engineer role:
  • Graduate Process Engineers, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, handle silicon wafer fabrication in photolithography, managing tools and techniques for semiconductor production.
  • You will train in a specific process area, guided by a Process GL, with a plan to build your skills and knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • After learning silicon semiconductor processes, you will contribute to their development, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Support and maintain wafer fabrication processes in your area, with guidance from your GL as needed.
  • Create and implement clear procedures to achieve manufacturing targets, ensure process control, maintain consistency, and comply with health and safety standards.
  • Support the identification and implementation of new manufacturing tools, ensuring process stability, quality, and yield under supervision.
  • Offer support and guidance to Process Technicians.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects to improve capabilities, efficiency, process control, or reduce costs.
  • Build skills in SPC control, OCAPs, and using the production MES system.
  • After training, assist in reviewing all COSHH assessments in Process Engineering.
  • Finish all health & safety and Quality portal online courses on time.
GraduateProcess Engineer requirements: Essential:
  • Degree in a relevant Engineering or science discipline
  • Able to work independently and form productive working relationships with other departments/ teams
  • Good organisational & prioritisation skills
  • Motivation to develop technical knowledge, through training, research, and experimentation.
Desirable:
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience of creating data, graphs and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel and ppt presentations
  • Project planning and research skills
