  • Our well established client based near Oldham are looking for a Junior Import Merchandiser to join our small but busy and growing business.
Job Overview / Key Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside and supporting our Senior Merchandiser to fulfil all departmental and customer requirements.
  • Working to ensure a smooth critical path process from order placement through to delivery.
  • Raising and placing purchase orders.
  • Collating customer packaging details and raising packaging PO’s.
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Manage sealing and photo samples.
  • Checking and sending samples.
  • Managing customer testing and compliance requirements.
  • Working on all inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Daily communication with suppliers and customers – ensuring relationships are built and maintained.
  • Administering general office / business duties.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Passionate about product and customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite applications especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and time pressured environment.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Self motived.
  • Confident problem solver that can identify issues before they arise.
  • Strong relationship builder.
  • Self motivated but also a great team player.
  • Holds a UK Driving License
Client requires an all rounder who is a confident, positive, outgoing and friendly individual. The ideal person will be a hands-on go getter with a ”no job is too small or too big” attitude who is willing to role up their sleeves no matter what the task who wants to make and significant contribution towards the team / business.Mon – Thur  8.30am – 4.45pmFri – 8.30 am – 3.45 pmRelevant merchandising / import / QA background preferable.Benefits:
