Role: Structural Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: 32,000 to 47,000
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a nationwide Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in their Manchester office. The Structural Engineer would be working on a range of projects, however primarily in the Residential sector and will be rewarded with a range of excellent benefits and a salary of up to 45,000, maybe more for an exceptional candidate.
This is a new role that has arisen from the result of new business and an Engineer leaving to go traveling, they have a very low turnover of staff. The Structural Engineer will have development potential as the company grow across all offices so there is a clear line to Principal and Associate positions This opportunity will support a candidate to Chartership with the ICE or ISTructE

Structural Engineer Job Requirements:
- A BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE
- Up to 3 years' experience within a UK Consultancy
- Experience TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS
- Ability to design to British Standards or Eurocode
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential
- Experience across several sectors - Commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure
- Experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works
