Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary
Location: Ormskirk
Salary: 98 per day
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday (08:30 - 15:30)
Start Date: 8th September 2025
We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN primary school in Ormskirk. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with special educational needs, helping them to grow in confidence, achieve academically, and thrive in a nurturing school environment.
The Role:
Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
Provide additional care and encouragement to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable - whether as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or through personal/lived experience.
A patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
A genuine passion for supporting young learners to achieve their full potential.
