Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Chorley
Salary: 98 per day
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday (08:30 - 15:30)
Start Date: 8th September 2025
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Chorley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Role:
Work closely with pupils, providing tailored one-to-one and small group support.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Support pupils' emotional, social and academic development.
Help create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Provide additional care and support to meet the individual needs of pupils.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with SEN is desirable - whether as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, in Early Years education, or through personal/lived experience.
A patient, caring and resilient nature.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
