We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in managing the entire payroll process from start to finish, including pension management. Proficiency in using the i-Trent payroll system is essential for this role.
Day-to-day of the role:- Responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage and process pensions and other benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in payroll.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare payroll reports.
- Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth operation of payroll processes.
- Provide payroll-related support to employees and manage payroll queries effectively.
- Proven experience in running full payroll processes independently.
- Strong knowledge and management of pension schemes.
- Proficient in i-Trent payroll system.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good communication skills, capable of dealing with queries from employees and external parties.
