We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in managing the entire payroll process from start to finish, including pension management. Proficiency in using the i-Trent payroll system is essential for this role.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and process pensions and other benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in payroll.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare payroll reports.
  • Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth operation of payroll processes.
  • Provide payroll-related support to employees and manage payroll queries effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in running full payroll processes independently.
  • Strong knowledge and management of pension schemes.
  • Proficient in i-Trent payroll system.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Good communication skills, capable of dealing with queries from employees and external parties.
