Quantity Surveyor

London - Dartford / Hybrid

£60,000 to £65,000

300 North are supporting our client to introduce an experienced construction biased Quantity Surveyor in the London area to work on prestigious high rise projects within the M25.

 

Duties:

  • Management of subcontractors and accounts
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager and management of the commercial team
  • Management of client disputes and internal auditing
  • Maintaining the commercial risk register
  • Overseeing weekly valuations and confirming accuracy of measurements
  • Cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Contract review and rates analysis
  • Production of CVR's for all projects

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive quantity surveying experience is essential along with a high level of commercial awareness and the ability to analyse problems and offer solutions.
  • Proven experience in compiling complex orders including the allocation of risk and supporting of the operational team. Along with demonstrated experience of NEC and the management of changes.
  • Inspiring, influential, and charismatic communication skills with experience in effectively landing key messages, and problem-solving skills are a given, as is having exceptional Excel skills.
  • Previous experience working with facades and cladding contracts is beneficial.
