We are recruiting for an experienced accountant to support a client in the construction industry during a busy period in Ossett.
The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, overseeing credit control, and assisting with cash flow forecasting.
Candidates should have proven experience in preparing full management accounts and a background in credit control or debtor management.
Experience using Sage 50 is also required for this position.
The salary for this role ranges from £40,000 to £46,000 and relevant experience is necessary.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the construction industry who requires interim support during a particularly busy period. Based in Ossett, this is an opportunity for an experienced accountant to step into a hands-on role with immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis
Oversight of the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and general financial planning

What we are looking for:

Proven experience in preparing full management accounts
A background in credit control or strong familiarity with debtor management
Experience using Sage 50

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000
