Job role: Packing/Mixing Operative
Pay rate: 13.20 - 14.80/hr
Location: Ossett
Hours: 3 shift patterns:
Dayshift - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Saturdays 6am-6pm
Nightshift - Sunday to Wednesday 6pm-6am
Rotating - Monday & Tuesday Dayshift 6am-6pm and Thursday & Friday Nightshift 6pm-6am
First Choice Recruitment are currently looking for Packing & MixingOperatives on behalf of our client, a long-established food production company, to work at their plant in Ossett.
Ideally candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and industry.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Picking ingredients
- Weighing ingredients
- Ensuring correct ingredients against recipes
- Mixing ingredients
- Packaging finished product
- Labelling & palletising finished product
- Working to food hygiene standards
- General duties & housekeeping as required
This role requires manual handling of heavy items up to 25KG
