Description
- Oversee the execution of construction contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Monitor contract performance to identify any potential issues and mitigate risks
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and suppliers to achieve the best outcomes
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Develop and implement processes for contract management and administration
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure contract requirements are met
- Conduct regular contract reviews to identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts
Profile
A successful Contract Manager should have:
- A degree in business, law, construction or a related field
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Sound knowledge of contractual obligations and its application in the construction industry
