Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our clients team in Ottery St Mary. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to their legal team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and correspondence.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates.
- Maintain and organize client files and records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and post.
- Assist with legal research and the preparation of case materials.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
