Robert Half are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a public school based in Oxford to recruit a part time Accountant. The Accountant is expected to work 25-30 hours a week and will receive a salary of up to £35,000 (FTE) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working and a free lunch!

Primary responsibilities;
- Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
- Billing - invoicing parents and chasing debtors
- Banking - making payments, bank reconciliations, dealing with direct debits
- Daily cash management
- Management Accounting - reporting against budget, balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Ad hoc accountancy tasks supporting the Bursar
- Procurement
Key experience and attributes;
- Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting skills
- Experience in accounting software and financial systems
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in the education sector is a plus
