Are you a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, or similar, looking for a hands-on role with full training, job variety, and a team that's got your back?

This company provides reliable concrete pumping services to building sites across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. From small housing jobs to large commercial builds, they use well-maintained concrete pumps and mixer trucks to get the job done right-safely, efficiently, and with minimal fuss. You'll be joining a tight-knit, no-nonsense team that takes pride in their work and keeps things running smoothly across every project.

You'll be working with a mix of concrete mixer trucks, pumps (including boom and line pumps), and batching plants and other plant equipment. Day-to-day, you'll carry out routine checks, servicing, and repairs-everything from mechanical and electrical fixes to welding, wiring, and tyre changes. You'll work alongside an experienced lorry technician and play a key role in keeping downtime to a minimum.

This role would suit a Plant Fitter or Agricultural Engineer who enjoys variety, wants to work in a supportive environment, and is keen to learn the ropes of concrete delivery and plant operations. Full training provided-just bring your skills and a good work ethic

THE ROLE

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on concrete pumps, mixer lorries, and other plant machinery
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and hands-on investigation
  • Assist the HGV technician
  • Perform welding and minor fabrication tasks as needed to maintain or improve machinery
  • Assist with wiring and auto-electrics troubleshooting and repairs
  • Change and fit tyres on plant vehicles and machinery
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 17:00

THE PERSON

  • Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar
  • Ability to Weld and carry out minor fabrication
  • Full UK driving licence
