Job Title: Nursery Assistant

A welcoming and nurturing nursery in Oxford is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and who is committed to supporting the learning and development of young children in a stimulating environment.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive Nursery Assistant with a genuine love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and engaging atmosphere. You will work closely with other qualified practitioners to provide the highest standard of care and learning experiences.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically through fun and interactive activities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging activities as a Nursery Assistant.
- Supporting children's individual needs and helping to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote learning and wellbeing.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant childcare qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent (desirable).
- Previous experience working with young children or within an early years setting (desirable).
- A commitment to supporting children's learning and development as a Nursery Assistant.
