We are representing a respected consultancy that is looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its established Oxford team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role, managing projects, building client relationships, and mentoring junior colleagues while working on a wide range of transport, infrastructure, and urban development schemes.



The Role

As Senior Air Quality Consultant, you will lead the delivery of air quality impact assessments, dispersion modelling, and compliance reporting. You'll play a key client-facing role, liaising with developers, planners, and local authorities to ensure high-quality outcomes on every project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical delivery of air quality assessments and modelling projects

  • Produce and review reports and Environmental Statement (ES) chapters

  • Manage client accounts and support business development initiatives

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior consultants

  • Attend site visits, client meetings, and public inquiries as required



About You

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulatory work

  • Proficient in ADMS, AERMOD, and familiar with IAQM/EPUK guidance

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related discipline

  • Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards accreditation desirable

  • Strong communication, organisational, and project management skills

  • Full UK driving licence
