A global, billion-dollar biotech business currently requires an Events Administrator to join their Marketing Operations Team on a temporary contract until the end of the year. The role is responsible for coordinating and managing a range of sales events across the World, with a focus on driving lead generation and expansion of the customer base, working in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Events Administrator key responsibilities:

  • Manage sales event budgets, including accurate tracking and regular reporting.
  • Manage internal procurement, invoicing and contract process for sales events
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on a high volume of sales event projects, ensuring timely deliverables to meet the sales event deadlines.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders to negotiate contracts, ensure the smooth planning and execution of all sales events; and to maintain strong relationships.
  • Be the point of contact to liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders across sales and marketing teams to meet deliverables.
  • Support Regional Marketing and Global Events teams to maintain, improve and update sales events processes, utilizing best practices based on feedback and lessons learned.
  • Ensuring the company's brand, core value and messaging are adhered and consistent for sales events globally.
  • Support internal and external communications to promote company sales events and drive conference attendance.
  • Analyse and report sales event data and metrics, such as attendance, lead generation, and conversion rates, to assess ROI and make data-driven recommendations.

The ideal Events Administrator will be a self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a similar events management role is essential.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work from their corporate HQ in Oxford at least one day a week but this may change as the business requires. Some additional travel may also be required.
