Reed Finance are partnered with a prestigious Oxford University affiliate who are seeking some interim support within their Finance function. This role will support with the day-to-day financial operations, accounting schedules (including Month End, Year End, VAT returns, cashflow forecasts) and works closely with the Finance Manager and College Accountant.

This role is suited to a fully qualified accountant with a good understanding of SORP. You will be used to broad accounting roles and have the ability to work independently to tight deadlines. Due to the urgency of this appointment candidates will need to be available on short notice or immediately available.

This role is offered on both a day rate (PAYE/Umbrella) and as a fixed-term opportunity running until the end of December 2025.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working with journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting independently
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
  • A good understanding of SORP

This is a full-time hybrid role in central Oxford.
