An award-winning, Chambers-ranked law firm with a strong national and international client base is now looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (3 Years’ PQE) to join its expanding Corporate team in Oxford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Solicitor to work alongside experienced partners and specialists on a wide range of high-quality corporate transactions with both UK and international elements.

About the Team:

The Corporate team acts for a diverse mix of clients, including:

  • Entrepreneurial start-ups
  • Established UK businesses
  • Major international corporations

Key sectors include Technology, Retail, Manufacturing and Banking & Finance. The team regularly advises clients on UK market entry, M&A, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate governance.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing your own caseload of corporate files, including M&A, share sales, investments and reorganisations
  • Delivering high-quality, commercial legal advice across a range of corporate matters
  • Taking detailed client instructions and providing proactive, solutions-led support
  • Working closely with partners on larger transactions and complex advisory work
  • Supporting and leading on client relationship management and business development initiatives
  • Taking an active role in team pitches, cross-selling opportunities and networking events
  • Helping to deliver against the team’s financial and strategic objectives

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in corporate law
  • Experience in handling M&A transactions, shareholder agreements and corporate restructurings
  • Comfortable with client-facing responsibility and managing matters independently
  • Strong commercial awareness and a practical, solution-driven approach
  • An interest in business development and growing your personal profile in the market
