Role overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with Good Research Practice (GRP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality across all research and development activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality policies and procedures in accordance with GRP and GMP standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of the QMS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits and inspections.
  • Manage quality documentation, including SOPs, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality metrics and report on performance to senior management.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, biotechnology).
  • Proven experience in a quality management role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of GRP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with QMS implementation and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Certified Lead Auditor qualification is desirable.
