Production Controller - Chalgrove, Oxfordshire - £35k - £40k DOE plus excellent benefits

This company, the world's leading manufacturer of ejection seats, are looking to recruit a Production Controller at their prestigious site in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. You will play an integral role in ensuring the on-time delivery of customer orders, high production throughput and ensuring stock levels and work in progress is at the optimum level.

Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire

Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12 Midday on Fridays.

Production Controller Responsibilities:

Working proactively with the Production, Engineering and Quality departments supporting the production plan and ensuring corrective actions are introduced to eliminate defects.
Producing ammunition data cards.
Processing of contract data requirement lines.
The management of customer orderbook and delivery reports.
Back-up handling deliveries to the Shipping department.
Collation and review of production paperwork for presentation for customer review.
Checking completed packing / production cards for booking in errors.

The successful candidate:

Familiarity with US Government packing and shipping requirements would be highly beneficial
Experience in data processing and process coordination within an Aerospace/Defence or Automotive sector.
Experience with planning and organising
Able to demonstrate solid data analysis and accurate typist skills
A keen eye for detail and thorough when checking own work.
Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage
