Site Manager – Oxford
£400 - £450 per day CIS
2 week initial contract
Contract to start next Tuesday after the bank holiday
Thames Water pass/SMSTS and CSCS required
You will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure that the works are undertaken in accordance with all H&S legislation, Policies, Procedures,
- Take ownership of site-based H&S, RAMS and paperwork –H&S File.
- Manage site activities, liaison with engineers and customers
- Ensure that site inductions and daily safety briefings are carried out
- Ensure that site security and appropriate safety notices are installed and maintained.
- Ensure that public pedestrian routes are provided and maintained to NRSWA standards.
- Ensure that suitable welfare facilities are in place and maintained in a clean condition
- Provision of Fire Marshall and First Aid (FAW) cover.
- Provide progress reports, site inspection reports.
- Liaise with management and Engineering staff
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards in accordance with client procedures.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- 5 years in a similar role
- Degree or HNC in a Mechanical Field
- SMSTS mandatory
- CSCS Black Card
- RAMS
- Thames Water Pass
- Dealing with contractors
- Managed team of 10+ Contractors
