We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our client's Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will engage in the assembly and testing of advanced instruments, including lasers, electro-optic systems, and high-resolution video cameras. The ideal candidate will have excellent assembly skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to to work in a close-knit team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test instruments according to detailed work instructions and testing procedures.
  • Participate in all phases of the operations and manufacturing processes, including the application of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate on bills of material, part procurement, and stock management to ensure efficient planning and execution of operational tasks.
  • Document protocols, track in-process results, and monitor key performance metrics.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • A passion for high tech manufacturing and demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in assembling electronic subsystems, including fault diagnosis.
  • Experience with high-precision part assembly, optics handling, and laser operation.
  • Some experience in testing high-technology equipment prior to shipping.
