Job Title: Construction Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Construction Manager to oversee a multi-discipline project currently underway in Aspatria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction.
This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and contractual requirements, and maintaining clear communication between all project stakeholders.
General Responsibilities:
- Act as the owner's representative on site (supported by Project Manager).
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise all contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Safety Management:
- Enforce company safety and health plans.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and briefings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards (supported by company safety team).
Construction Phase Responsibilities:
- Manage all construction activities on site across multiple disciplines.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
- Support cost management, including tracking expenditures and reporting variances.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing multi-discipline construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation construction.
- Own laptop (email address will be arranged) and mobile phone (costs covered by company or via pay-as-you-go).
- Own vehicle for site travel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and compliance procedures.
