Administrator

Adecco are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Aspatria who are an award winning employer & a local employer of choice. We are seeking an organised and proactive administrator to join an engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the team, and managing various administrative tasks.

The role is full time working 37.00 hours over Monday-Friday. This role is for an 11 month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising Requisitions: Prepare and process requisition orders for materials, equipment, and services required by the engineering team.
  • Raising PO Numbers: Generate and manage purchase order numbers, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Stock Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the engineering team.

Experience & skills:

  • Prior administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
