Planning Engineer
I am supporting a Tier One international infrastructure contractor delivering a long term, highly complex civils programme in Cumbria. This is a permanent opportunity within a regulated environment, offering strong long-term security and career progression.
We are looking to speak with experienced Planning Engineers who have a background in major civil engineering works and who are comfortable operating within large, multi discipline delivery teams.

The role
You will support the development and management of robust project programmes across multiple work packages, working closely with construction, engineering and commercial teams to ensure accurate planning, progress reporting and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities will include
* Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes
* Progress tracking, lookahead planning and critical path analysis
* Supporting change control, delay analysis and programme updates
* Working collaboratively with site and project teams to ensure programme alignment
* Providing clear reporting to support informed decision making

Candidate requirements
* Previous experience as a Planning Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects
* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar planning software
* Experience working in regulated or complex delivery environments is advantageous
* Must hold current SC clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance

To be eligible for SC clearance, candidates must be able to demonstrate
* Right to work in the UK
* Continuous UK residency for the last 5 years
* Ability to provide full employment and address history for the last 5 years
* No unspent criminal convictions

Package
* Salary 70,000 to 80,000 plus car allowance
* Permanent position
