We’re seeking a proactive Accounts Manager to lead the accounts function across our group of companies. You'll manage a small team, oversee financial operations, and play a key role in cashflow, reporting, and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Accounts Assistants, including appraisals and HR matters
- Oversee cashflow management, supplier payments, VAT, PAYE, and reconciliations
- Create and manage customer invoicing, credit checks, and retentions
- Work with senior leaders to ensure strategic financial goals are met
- Liaise with banks, suppliers, and internal teams to support positive cashflow
- Drive improvements in communication and efficiency within the finance function
Requirements:
- Intermediate Excel and Sage experience
- Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) preferred
- Strong understanding of cashflow and P&L management
- Experience in a leadership finance role within construction or similar industry
