The One Group is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a reputable business in South Peterborough on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role involves reporting to the Finance Manager and includes responsibilities such as managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, cashflow assistance, and budget support.
Candidates must have experience in an Assistant Accountant position, proficiency in Excel, and a minimum of AAT Level 3 qualification.
Process improvement experience is also essential for success in this role.
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.

The One Group are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a highly reputable business in South Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis.This role would see you reporting into the Finance Manager and have autonomy in your role. Responsibilities:

Supporting with Accounts Payable, processing invoices, generating PO's and responding to queries
Supporting with Accounts Receivable, raise customer invoices and oversee credit control process
Assist with daily cashflow
Support with forecasts and annual budgets
Reconcile monthly VAT returns and submissions to HMRC

You will also play a key role in process & efficiency improvements within the finance team and therefore this project experience will be required in order to be successful within the role. Requirements:

Experience in an Assistant Accountant position - essential
Experience with excel - essential
Experience with improving processes - essential
Minimum of AAT Level 3 - essential
