Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant in the Peterborough area to join our dedicated team and help shape the future of our young learners.

In the role of a Teaching Assistant you will support all aspects of learning, working alongside the class teacher to ensure a positive environment for all pupils.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

• Have some experience of adapting the curriculum and creating bespoke activities to meet an individual’s needs
• Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
• Be able to work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo but have the ability to use their own initiative to support individuals
• Have excellent interpersonal skills that motivate and inspire children
• Be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be prepared to develop relationships with children who need consistency and clear boundaries from someone who really cares
• Have some experience in supporting children with medical conditions within an educational setting

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Working as a Teaching Assistant you will earn £89 to £100 per day.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
• Experience working 1:1 with children

• Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
