Senior Quantity Surveyor | Peterborough| Civil Engineering

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to be part of one of the regions busiest infrastructure teams. Part of a wider group, the individual business unit forecasts turnover for 2025 of circa 250m. Due to a number of key framework project wins in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, one of our key clients is looking to recruit two Senior Quantity Surveyors for new schemes in the area. The role will be a mixture of site, remote and office (Peterborough) working.

Overview

Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Sector Focus: Roads, Highways, Structures

Experience: Previous work history of civil engineering projects

Employment Type: Salary 60,000 to 75,000

Employer: Tier One Contractor

Duties

  • Primary contact and accountability for the project
  • Maintain upstream communication to clients and internal teams by way of reporting and forecasting
  • Assessing change notifications inline with the contract conditions
  • Close liaison and collaborative team work with the project team
  • Sound knowledge of forms of contract
  • Value engineering and cost optimisation
