We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher and SENCO.
  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records.
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
  • Understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
