We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their senior leadership team in Cambridgeshire, driving change, optimisation, and excellence across the supply chain function.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role with full ownership of the site's supply chain strategy and execution. You'll lead and develop a high-performing planning and logistics team, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes, whilst delivering exceptional customer service and meeting key performance metrics.
With significant investment being made in new production lines and infrastructure, this role is central to shaping the future of the business. We're seeking a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment and who can inspire and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the site's supply chain function, ensuring effective integration of SAP and best-practice processes.
Oversee supply planning, raw material call-off, scheduling, transport, and logistics activities.
Drive delivery of KPIs, ensuring compliance and continuous process improvement.
Lead the demand planning process, aligning procurement, manufacturing, and resource allocation.
End-to-end inventory management, ensuring stock control and cost optimisation.
Deliver robust monthly/weekly reporting and oversee site supply reviews.
Manage and develop the S&OP process, ensuring collaboration across all functions.
Provide strong people leadership, nurturing talent and driving team engagement.
What We're Looking For
Proven track record in a senior supply chain role within a complex manufacturing environment.
Strong experience working with ERP/MRP systems (M3 knowledge highly desirable).
Demonstrable people leadership and change management experience.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
A confident, dynamic leader who thrives on accountability and decision-making.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
