A special purpose vehicle manufacturer in North Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join their production team.
The role requires proven experience in assembling electrical or electronic systems and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Responsibilities include assembling subassemblies, wiring and soldering harnesses, and performing troubleshooting and repairs.
The position offers a permanent contract with a salary dependent on experience, and working hours are from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Friday.
Candidates should have a strong background in electrical systems, ideally with several years of relevant experience.

Senior Electrical Technician
The Senior Electrical Technician will have the following responsibilities:

Assemble electrical/electronic subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or work instructions to ISO9001 standards.
Wire and solder harnesses, cable assemblies, PCBs, control consoles, connectors, transformers and SMT components.
Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly, and control system outfitting.
Perform troubleshooting, testing and repairs, including PCB fault-finding down to component level.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

Proven experience with assembling electrical or electronic systems
Ability to read engineering drawings
Competent in fault finding

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches
