Role responsibilities
- Planning, leading and completing audit assignments for clients across multiple sectors
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 and other relevant standards
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff on-site and in the office
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audit engagements
- Ensuring audit files are completed to a high standard and in line with professional regulations
- Supporting managers and partners on technical queries and complex client issues
- Identifying potential improvements to audit processes and contributing to team development

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified or qualified with previous experience in a UK audit and assurance team
- Strong technical understanding of audit procedures and financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Proven experience supervising junior staff and managing audit fieldwork
- A team-focused approach with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
