Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of private clients, overseeing end-to-end compliance and advisory services
  • Deliver expert guidance on complex tax issues, including sensitive or high-value matters
  • Identify wider tax planning opportunities and risks within client portfolios
  • Collaborate closely with Tax Partners to support strategic advisory initiatives
  • Supervise, develop, and appraise the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Actively contribute to client relationship management, including attending meetings and building long-term partnerships
  • Monitor WIP, productivity, and billing across your portfolio
  • Provide technical mentorship and feedback across the team

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar Private Client or Mixed Tax leadership role within practice
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to research and advise on complex tax legislation
  • Commercial acumen with a flair for identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to inspire teams and build client trust
  • Exposure to a wide range of client sectors and industries is a distinct advantage
