The Role

As a Trainee Finance Assistant, youll work closely with the finance team to support a range of IBA accounting and administrative tasks. This is a full-time, office-based role with excellent training opportunities and a clear path for progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve client receipt allocation issues by liaising with relevant internal and external teams.
  • Perform monthly bordereaux and insurer account reconciliations and initiate payments.
  • Monitor and process client refunds.
  • Raise and resolve premium and commission queries with Account Handlers and Insurers.
  • Investigate and resolve allocation anomalies in Insurer/Introducer/Agent accounts.
  • Assist auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team.
  • Follow company accounts procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the companys Training & Competence Scheme.
