Senior General Foreman - Major Infrastructure Project - Devonport

Randstad C&P are recruiting for an experienced freelance Senior General Foreman to join a major infrastructure project at Devonport HMNB. This is a challenging and rewarding freelance contract opportunity with a leading construction company, offering a competitive rate on a major scheme.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the project, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of site staff, including engineers, technicians, and operatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, particularly those relating to the naval dockyard environment.

* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and safety records.
