Wise Employment are recruiting for Industrial Manufacturing Operatives based in Plymouth on a permanent basis.
Hours and Salary:Monday – Thursday 7am – 5.30pm – working 40hrs per week with a 3-day weekend! £25,397 per annum plus lots of opportunity for overtime at excellent rates.
Over time: Flexibility is required. If working Monday – Thursday (after having worked the standard 40 hours) or Friday the hourly equivalent pay rate is £15.26 per hour, Saturday is £18.32 per hour and Sunday’s/Bank Holidays is £24.42 per hour.
As an Industrial Manufacturing Operative, you will need to have experience and understanding of manufacturing processes. Desirable Skills:
- Previous Manufacturing / Production / Engineering / Construction knowledge is required
- Able to understand technical drawings, and apply technical information.
- Fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking/measuring out materials.
- Ability to learn and integrate new skills.
- Efficient at communicating throughout all levels of an organisation.
- Able to work to tight deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Aspiring and keen to advance within the organisation.
Day to Day Duties:
- Work productively and safely in compliance with the company’s systems of work.
- Minimise waste by using materials and consumable items efficiently.
- Maintain good levels of workmanship and traceability.
- Measuring and inspecting products using a variety of equipment.
- Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when required.
- Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
Training and Additional Information:
- Participate in training where required.
- This role may also be subject to a Drug and Alcohol test.
