This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to a variety of projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are searching for a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the thriving, historical port city of Plymouth.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
- Delivering all stages of a variety of projects, in a design capacity
- Producing hydraulic models and surveys
- Using a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documents
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
- Attending site visits and other meetings as a representative of the company
- Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
- A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Hydrology or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)
- Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
- Demonstrable experience of wastewater modelling
- Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
- Actively working to attain Chartered Status
- Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
- Knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
