Were looking for a motivated and technically-minded individual to join our team in Plymouth as a Moulding Production Technician. In this role, youll be responsible for operating injection moulding machines to manufacture plastic components (Vacutainer Tubes & Caps), working within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Shift Pattern: Continuous night shift 3 days on, 3 days off
Hours: 11pm 11am
Shift Premium: An impressive 48% on top of your base salary!

What Youll Do:
  • Operate and monitor injection moulding machines

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues (root cause analysis)

  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance

  • Support annual machine maintenance alongside PM Technicians

  • Follow health & safety and quality standards

  • Drive improvements through lean manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, etc.)

  • Collaborate closely with Operators, Engineers, Quality Techs & Shift Leaders

  • Maintain records via SAP and ensure compliance through inspections

About You:
  • Level 3 qualification in Engineering (essential)

  • Experience in a technical/manufacturing role

  • Injection moulding experience (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills

  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for quality and efficiency

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
