Occupational Health Technician
Location: Plymouth
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm, Friday 7:30am–2:45pm

We are currently recruiting an Occupational Health Technician to support the delivery of high-quality occupational health services. This role involves carrying out health surveillance assessments, supporting health promotion activities, and assisting the broader OH team in delivering an efficient and effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and questionnaires

  • Support the delivery of health promotion and education programmes

  • Assist OH Nurses and Physicians in delivering a comprehensive service

  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

  • Ensure medical equipment is well-maintained and calibrated

  • Keep up to date with best practices in occupational health

About You:
You’ll be confident, proactive, and able to manage your own workload. A recognised qualification isn’t essential, but a background as a Healthcare Assistant, Fitness Instructor, Military Medic, EMT, Offshore Medic, or similar is desirable.
