Practice Leader (Hub Leader)

We’re looking for a Practice Leader (Hub Leader) to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries and other support needs to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, inspire your team, and ensure the people we support have a genuine voice in how their care is delivered.

Package

  • £14.10 per hour (£13.50 base + £0.30 on-call + £0.30 hub leader)

  • 40 hours per week on a rolling rota

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience in social care (preferred)

  • Compassionate and person-centred approach

  • Confident in leading and supporting a team

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Open, non-judgemental and curious about human behaviour

  • Ability to work closely with families, networks and colleagues

  • Must be female (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 exemption)

  • Right to work in the UK, two references and enhanced DBS clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team on-shift, modelling outstanding practice

  • Promote person-led planning, delivery and review of support

  • Manage and plan rotas to ensure effective, high-quality care

  • Recruit, develop and supervise staff within your hub

  • Coordinate and plan activities with staff and people supported

  • Provide first-line advice and actions as part of the on-call rota

  • Collaborate with managers to drive service performance

  • Foster an open, transparent and positive team culture
