Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary (Supply)
Salary: £90–£100 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for reliable and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis in welcoming primary schools across Polegate. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy varied work while making a meaningful impact in children’s lives.
About the Role
- 1:1 and Group Support: Assist pupils with special educational needs both individually and in small groups
- Inclusive Practice: Help adapt classroom tasks and activities to suit individual learning styles
- Classroom Assistance: Work alongside teachers to support positive learning experiences for all
- Flexible Working: Day-to-day supply roles that fit around your availability and preferences

What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
- Empathy & Adaptability: Patient, approachable, and responsive to pupil needs
- Team Player: Able to work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff
- Compliance: Must have suitable references and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply)
